Windows 10

In case your Windows 10 is unable to access your share and keeps saying you don't have permission - first check if  going to Services=>SMB and setting it to allow NTLMv1 temporarily  fixes it.

If that is the case, change it back, then run REGEDIT. You want to go the following folder:  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa

Change LmCompatibiltyLevel to 5.  Instead of attempting NTLMv1 first, it will switch to only accepting NTLMv2.

This should fix your access problem. You may need to reboot in order for the value change to become active.
